Hurricanes, Quakes and now the Volcanoes

Catastrophe has struck the Pacific 'Ring of Fire' with flights carrying extra fuel in case of a major volcanic eruption, more than 75,000 people fleeing a Balinese region and the possibility of the evacuation of an entire island in Vanuatu

Mass evacuations and states of emergency declared in Bali Indonesia and in Vanuatu [a small island near Australia]

Seems like all the popular vacation spots are being wiped out.

The name of the volcano in Indonesia "Agung" is quite interesting.

Are you going to blog about 'Agung'? I have no idea what it means.

Once more there are elements of fire, water, wind and earth associated with all these manifestations which are intensifying.

What is interesting is that "Agung"in Malay means The Great - Regal - Supreme.
On the other hand Vanuatu has the meaning of Vanua = Home Land and Tu = Stand.

If there are huge simultaneous explosions of both volcanoes which now seem extremely likely to occur on or around Yom Kippur.....could we deduce that
THE GREAT SUPREME REGAL OF THE UNIVERSE is making A HOME STAND for HIS precious and Holy Covenant Land???

Now that would be a Shofar Gedolah !!!!
All that is transcribing in the world is for the sake of HaShem's Holy name and His covenant promises and purposes for Israel.
The forensic fingerprints of HaShem are all too obvious for those who delve into His Majesty and debunk what the world declares as scientific coincidence.

The surf might be up on the East Coast of Queensland, Australia.Very sobering thoughts in preparation for Yom Kippur.

I spent a week in Vanuata many years ago, it's a beautiful place, and because of the volcano there are many coral reefs and the deep sea diving and snorkelling is amazing.

I concur Devorah, Vanuatu is a very beautiful paradise as are many islands of the South Pacific.....I wonder if Rav Singer has snorkeled there as possibly he may also have dived in Bali, being in Indonesia.

However, there is a strange phenomena when considering Vanuatu's stand on Israel. Recently it voted for Israel and its connection to Yerushalayim at UNESCO. Notwithstanding though, In a letter dated August 21st, 1989, Nikenike Vurobaravu, who was then the Republic's Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Judicial Services, stated:

"the Government of the Republic of Vanuatu has now officially recognized the State of Palestine declared in November 1988".

Some say that the Arab coalition bribes these nations to garner support for their cause must be considered.

The bulk of South Pacific countries stand and vote for Israel. Why this beautiful paradise is subject to fierce natural and political upheavals is baffling at times. Only HaShem knows.

R’ Shimon ben Menassia teaches that the redemption will not come until the Jewish people pray for the rule of G-d, the kingship of Dovid and the rebuilding of the Beis HaMikdosh (Yalkut Shimoni, Shmuel I 8:106).

In the words of Rav Yisrael Meir HaKohein:
“Even though we pray for the redemption several times every day, requesting by itself is not enough. One must DEMAND the redemption, just as with the wages of a hired worker (Mishnah Bava Metzia 9:12 and Meseches Bava Metzia 111a). Failure to do so shows that this matter is clearly not that urgent to us!” (Kol Kisvei Chofeitz Chayim, Sichos Chafetz Chaim, paragraph #14).

Sometimes our Creator has to take “desperate measures” when we don’t cry out to Him to redeem us.

As Yeranen Yaakov (http://bit.ly/2fqurO3) qouted the Gemara (Yerushalmi, Berachos 64a) last week which stated the following:

"Eliyahu HaNovi and R’ Nehorai were in the study house studying Torah together. Eliyahu HaNovi asked R’ Nehorai, 'Why do earthquakes come into the world?'

Eliyahu HaNovi said R’ Nehorai, '... When the Holy One, blessed be He, gazes at the theaters and circuses that are full and thriving while His Temple lies in ruin, He immediately wants to destroy His world.'"

Let us stop being emotionally constipated (see Rav Schwab on Chumash by Rabbi Myer Schwab, pages 47 – 48) and cry out to Hashem to bring us back to His land!

Very well said. I have been screaming to Hashem in demand for Moshiach and trying to wake people up to do the same! Not an easy task when they are busy with the theaters and circuses. May He redeem us now! He MUST!!

Meanwhile....the other Indonesian volcano .... Mt Sinabung explodes

now two volcanoes erupting simultaneously

here’s what the foolish “experts” say:

Both volcanoes sit on the Pacific Ring of Fire, an area of intense seismic activity that stretches 40,000 kilometers (25,000 miles) from New Zealand to South America.
That they're showing signs of erupting at the same time is pure coincidence, said Benjamin Andrews, of the Smithsonian Institution's Global Volcanism Program
