There is a bit of good news that the Rav failed to mention which we in Israel see every day as a result if October 7. Jews who were so distant from G-od are now turning to Him in big ways. A secular Jewish woman now lights Shabbat candles, a secular Jewish man and boy now wears a yamulka or now wears tzizit, etc. It's not that all of a sudden they become super religious, although some have, but by those, what some people may call, small acts have in fact tore open the gates of Heaven and in the merit of what they have done we see miracles that the distruction is much less than what normally should have happened. And we Jews who live in Israel should be grateful and appreciate the magnitude of their contribution through those "small" acts which are probably saving hundreds, if not thousands, of Jewish lives here in Israel.
Regarding the eiruv rav, these same people whom I referred to above and who are the same people who voted in the eiruv rav have now seen who they really are and have now totally rejected them and will probably vote the opposite. They've seen the evil and now say "we want no part of it".
Heh still a lot of work needed, I was in Israel. I was talking with a "native", he was really upset that in his public school (for his child), they force him too have tanach class. Guys we need to do teshuva now!
