Of course trying to find an explanation to the holocaust is extremly sensitive and difficult for all the obvious reasons. It shoudn't be a taboo subject though. In fact; it could be hughly important going forward. Still, one doesn't feel 100% comfortable with all this talk about this frustrated ex-homelss painter. Van Gogh only killed himself, why he had to kill so many, including also handicaped childeren and so on? Never mind he was psychic or whatever talents he had apparently in that field, such as using his dog as a medium for communication with spiritual entities (?) Remains hard to wrap one's head around the whole thing. Was it an Angel doing a bluff since he was dying, and did haShem accept his gambit nevertheless, because He can't say no to this (dying) Angel in any case with whom He shares some of His pnimiyus midot with ?
