Sorry to disagree. This is a present. It's a gift. People are dying left and right, it is because he is happy with us. Please. Stop it - Torah has Tochaha in it, stop trying to sugarcoat everything.

Who says we need to say kaddish for someone who passed away? G-d does.
So when G-d creates a situation when you can't say kaddish, what is G-d telling you?
That there is something happening in the world today that when a person who passes away, does not need kaddish to enter Gan Eden.
What a compliment to all those people who just passed away!
We won't be able to say yizkor this Pesach. Why?
Because yizkor means we need to REMEMBER someone who passed away.
But now, we have to start looking forward to their RETURN.
Don't remember them. Bring them BACK.
Think positive. It's exactly the same reality.
Grieving is a sign of life. When you grieve, it means that life is so appreciated, than any loss of life is grievous.
If you're not interested in life, then why kvetch about death?
People are convinced that what this plague will bring is unspeakable. If you're convinced of that, have you already given up on life?
When there's a possibility of life ending, we have to become MORE alive.
Life is permanent. Death is temporary. Yes, it's temporary, because it only serves a purpose, and once that purpose has been accomplished, it will stop.
Those who have passed away will come back.
When Moshiach comes, G-d will explain why death was necessary.''
Devorah, i think Avraham Weiss is speaking from heartbreak, or something of that sort.
The only thing to do is to try and empathize with all peoples. Pray that God helps all who are going through many problems, especially at this time. Yes, God may have caused it, yet again, others might think otherwise, perhaps God did not, but evil people caused the virus.
Who can say, Rabbis and others, think, and conclude, likewise people to think and conclude. We do not walk in their shoes, we do not know what each one is going through.
Rabbis when they speak what they think, and when people listen, what they say, may effect each person listening, in different ways. That is the free choice of all peoples. Have to keep remembering people are facing hardships, and they are hurt.
Only solution, pray to God, repent, and hold all those hurting up to God.
We will know only the truth, when Mashiach comes.
Amen v'Amen.

Yes, I found it to be an excellent shiur. I find many different types of personalities to be good. I'm not a fence sitter, yet I can find truth and necessity in all of the different shiurim given by the rabbanim.
I tried to share this link on facebook. I received a message that it doesn't meet their community standards. FB and Zukerberg are anti-kedusha.
