We were given a heart of stone to sustain us in this galus. We were promised a heart of flesh. Maybe the transition has started? I have been having anxiety, real chest pains etc pretty consistantly throughout this. Speaking to others some report the same. Is this normal or am I more inclined for whatever physical or spiritual reasons? Any comments from blog community?
I had some strange chest/shoulder pain for a couple of days, tried to ignore it and it went away. I don't think we were given a heart of stone, perhaps some peoples' became that way. I don't have any anxiety, in fact this is the calmest I've been for longer than I can remember. I feel very sorry for those who have no money right now, or are sick etc. but personally I have nothing to worry about these days, or so it seems. The stuff that used to worry me, no longer does.
I also have strange head/chest/shoulder pain was waking up almost every 2-3 hours from pain, because of pain I experienced difficulty breathing. Now I'm doing better hopefully it stays that way...
I live Israel I'm in two months 65, Devorah if I'm right you live in Australia mind sharing age? Lea where do you live and how old are you? Why am I asking we live in other parts of the world and have the same symptoms, makes you wonder...
Jewgirl mine was more like a muscle twinge - I did not have trouble breathing - rather not give my age but I’m younger than you - hope you feel better now - trouble breathing could be a panic attack.
I'm much younger, yes I do not work and also my husband. we live in Israel. It seems that Hashem "closed" all the doors for us in almost every aspect of our life. But...I see bright future in from of me in my mind and I'm waiting that Hashem will open now a small door that I can go through...to Him... Thank you.
Im 50 just. Live in Jerusalem. I have had tachachardia in the past, often. I guess my question was more of findng a sensitivity to the geula process. If wrath is indeed being meted out I guess I can feel it. And am having trouble putting my mind to other matters beside. I appreciate the comment
I'm 53, live in Israel, my shoulder blade area was really hurting. Pain spread to my shoulder and upper arm. Pain lasted about about 3 weeks. Felt like a pulled muscle. Acamol helped.
I did! Had an Ekg day before Leil Seder. Normal. ust the racing heart. Let us not forget it is always the women who have risen above the dross and chaos in klal. I can't imagine they felt any less anxious over the centuries as today's women, literally holding the world on our shoulders...
Rabbi Efraim Palvanov What is the significance of recent seismic events in Syria and Damascus? What might we expect for the region in light ...

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

I'm taking it one day at a time.
I think I just see things from the perspective that Hashem is in control.

I didn't pay for my rent apartment this month...
Leah is your landlord ok with that? I know here some are and some are not. Do you have a job to go back to?

I had to look up tachycardia - it’s probably anxiety related - do some deep breathing to relax. That usually slows things down.

All you people with symptoms that you describe. Fortunately HASHEM is watching over you!
CAVEAT: If you are aged anywhere remotely close to 50 years 'young' please read on.
I have had similar symptoms to most of you. And I thank Him that I am alive today to write this.
GET YOURSELF CHECKED OUT A.S.A.P. when you feel that way next time ! ! !
IT COULD BE A GENUINE EMERGENCY! All those signs and symptoms point to a potential heart attack!
I am no scare monger. And I can't stand hypochondria.
Even Sofek Pikuach Nefesh is 'doche' shabbo's!
Ones life precedes even the Laws of Shabbat!
Please, please, please. This is no joke! ! !
Take good care, everybody. Be well and be safe. May H" guard us ALL !
