Just received an email from Rav Fish with the following in the subject heading: "HaGaon Hamekubal Rav Beniyahu Shmueli announced in his weekly shiur that we are standing at the end of the redemption [process]."
I don't want to throw cold water over this, but the transcription of Rav Shmueli's shiur on Parshat Hukat includes an almost word-for-word copy of the Or Elyon newsletter, and that is where it says "ועל פיו ניווכח שאנו על סף הגאולה". It appears that the Or Elyon newsletter came first and the person transcribing Rav Shmueli's shiur copied that text and added it to the shiur. We therefore don't know for sure that Rav Shmueli said this.
You know, Devorah, I thank you so much for this little blurb. The little one liner's are sometimes the most inspirational. They are like a pick me up that carries me to the next moment in excitement. Thank you.
We should all pray and expect the redemption at any moment. I study at his yashivah under Rav Shmuli Shlita, I did not hear this shiur, but be careful about someone quoting someone, who is quoting someone else. I am not saying true or false, this kind of statement, in Lashon H'Kodesh is close to the vein of what he has been saying for years, but he will refuse to give any kind of date or time line.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
