It’s videos like this that hold me back from ending my life of tremendous suffering. But it feels like a tease since Moshiach isn’t here yet. I know people have had unbelievable refuos and great open miracles and that it’s always possible with Hashem. I just wish I felt as hopeful about Moshiach coming soon as I did a month ago. It seems that people are starting to give up on the Moshiach enthusiasm. And when you don’t know if Moshiach is about to arrive, watching these videos of how great things will be when Moshiach arrives, feels like a big tease :(
We've got a sky full of planets from another solar system, and included in those planets is "the star" which some call Kochav Yaakov and Rabbi Ovadia Yosef calls "the star of David". How can you not feel hopeful?
It’s been 10 years since Rav Ovadia Yosef said that before he passed away. Unless I misunderstood something, you just gave me a reason why I should feel hopeless :(
Whoops I meant to say Rabbi Yuval Ovadia, not Rabbi Ovadia Yosef ! Sorry about that. Some of us actually think Geula was delayed 10 years, Moshiach should have come by now. I don't know why it was delayed, probably our behaviour.
Sarah, FWIW, i also have loads of chronic suffering, and lately my B.P. has been fluctuating, and sometimes very high, such as 160/90. The rabbi's vid. speaks of "illness" but he doesn't mention conditions such as deformities, and genetic deviances. For example, from what I could gather, to heal Krohn's (and/or Celiac?) would require gene splicing. But there's more extreme conditions out there that most people don't want to know of, and probably better off not knowing, just like we're better off not knowing nitty gritty's of October 7th and the like. M.M.
It does seem like there are a lot less videos/shiurim about the Moshiach coming in the last couple of weeks. Seems like it slowed down, so I look forward to watching this one! Also, it says he will come when we least expect it - like an ordinary day. Even what is happening with the ships (from Kittim) moving around in the mid-east is very interesting. Lots of signs here. Hang in there!
You have nothing to worry about. The speaker brought great sourced that everyone will be completely healthy and complete. No ailments or illnesses of any kind. No one missing ANY body parts, no prosthetic legs and arms. No celiac and crohns disease. There won’t be ANY ailments or pain whatsoever. Whether it be digestion issues, chronic back pain, migraines, heartburn… the list goes for everything. Again, COMPLETE perfect health for the entire body, just like by matan torah and before adam and chava sinned. Everyone will be healthy and there won’t be any doctors needed to cure or treat any illnesses or ailments…. Because they won’t exist.
That is all true, Miriam. To add to that… not even will anyone need glasses since everyone will have 20/20 perfect eyes. Complete and perfect body the way it was meant to be.
Dear Sarah, I am sorry that you are suffering so much. I am guessing that you watch shiurim in English, because in Hebrew in Israel, all anyone is talking about is Moshiah, in shiurim and on the street. My personal opinion is that it is precisely the people who are suffering terribly who will bring the geula. I am simply astonished the way people seem to casually discuss that Moshiach could come in four months, in eight months, when in Israel especially there are so, so many people suffering unimaginable nisayonot, we are still in the midst of this terrible war, with so many of us still under the terrible threat of a repeat performance, chalila. We are supposed to be in a state of tsaaka, countless rabbonim have said that this is what brings the geula citing sources that escape me for now. In addition two kedoshei yisrael separately said the exact same thing that is holding the geula up. Rav Dov Kook shlita wrote a letter about it that he requested be widely publicised. Unfortunately, those affected don't seem that interested in hearing about it.
I hope that you have your geula shleima pratit very soon. This life often feels like a huge, imponderable mystery.
Last xmas I gave you my heart, it's talking about the previous year, not that this is the last year there would be their holiday.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

The song lyrics are not what I was referring to. It's the song title itself that is the hint.
But apart from the song, I also hope Moshiach arrives now.
