40-42 mins. He confirms the Christian claim that the Jews failed in their mission so God created a new people of the Christians. "Plan B"! How far does he have to go before people understand that these ideas about Eisav are very, very wrong.
And they are certainly not based on anything the Ramchal taught as written in Derech Hashem:
...God thus made the rectification and elevation of all creation totally dependent on the Jews. To the extent that this can be expressed, we can say that He subjugated His Providence to them. Through their deeds, they can cause [His Light] to shine forth and have influence, or, on the other hand, hold it back and conceal it.
The deeds of the other nations, on the other hand, do not add to or subtract from the state of creation, nor do they cause God to reveal Himself or withdraw. All they can do is bring about their own gain or loss, and strengthen or weaken their own directing angel.
Although God does not involve Himself expressly in the direction of the nations in detail, it is possible that He should exercise His Providence over them when it is required for the sake of Israel. This may be because of a single Jew, or for a number of them. (Derech Hashem, Part II: Providence, Chapter 4: Israel and the Nations)
I don't completely understand what you have written, but you may be interested in this which I just received via email: Rabbi Kessin discussing Jesus with Gila J - You Tube video click here
In my interpretation, Rabbi Kessin is not agreeing that the Jews failed in our mission to bring Hashem into this world. He is not claiming that the Christians replaced the Jews. Which is the claim that some Christians And Rastafaris make out themselves, and is called "Replacement Theology."
He is merely saying that once the second Beit Hamikdash was destroyed, and we went into exile the century after that, Hashem need to bring the non-Jews closer to him by a means other than the Jews, who were discredited through the sin of Sinat Hinam.
So Hashem invented Christianity.
He them goes on to qualify Christianity as being close to Judaism in some respects, but Christianity not being the whole truth, and is based on falsehoods such as the concept of trinity.
BH Shavuah Tov The World was created for the Jewish People, so they could learn Torah and do Mitzvos. This makes way for a place on earth for HaShem by keeping His Mitzvos and learning His Torah. The other nations are to keep the 7 laws of Noach, not really sure what you are referring to.
An interview of Rabbi Mendel Kessin by Gila J. about Yeshu (Jesus) "Rav Mendel Kessin and I discuss Yeshu (Jesus)"
Topics included:
Jesus is the gilgul (reincarnation) of Esav according to the Ari. What brought Christianity to existence. The purpose of Christianity in the Divine Plan. Why Christianity is a missionary religion. The Satan is dying. Understanding the Holocaust. Who President Donald J. Trump is. How Yishmael—Islam lead over Esav—Edom (Obama became a president of the US). "I believe Obama is Gog." The danger of New Testament New Testament is one of the greatest documents of "Lashon Ha'Ra" ever written.
Personally, I wouldn’t spend a second learning anything that has to do with not man idol, there is enough subjects in our own arena to learn from. This man idol has caused millions of our holy people to be annihilated. Why would anyone spend precious moments that they have on reading this.
Only listened to the first 20 minutes. I'm no scholar of Christianity, but I don't think R' Kessin is correct when he says Jesus was crucified for being a low level criminal. My understanding is that the Romans saw Jesus as a threat to their rule in Judea because he was claiming to be the "king of the Jews".
I think maybe the Rabbi is going a little too far with these explanations. The only logical reason for the religions of the world is to make for a civilized society. We need to understand that religions were created by them taking their ideas and beliefs from our Torah. Even the mythologies come from the subconscious of humanity that knows there is a G-D (a supreme being). That is why the two major religions of the world believe in the One G-D, but from their capacity of understanding of a supreme being which does not fully concur with the Torah. The basis of these two major religions stems from our Torah, the actual Blueprint of the world direct from G-D Almighty Himself. Hashem is the script writer and this was obviously His Plan. the same with our history, the two brothers, one good & one evil, etc., etc. Our mission is to bring to light to the world that there is no such thing as religions (no such word in the Torah because everything else besides Torah is avodah zorah). There is only the ETERNAL TRUTH, G-D Almighty, Ain Od Milvado.
I'm finding some of these comments to be quite aggressive. What if Rabbi Kessin's theory is correct? So far it has been. I wonder if all of you will apologize to Rabbi Kessin if and when Trump is elected President again if we are still stuck in this galus.
Unfortunately, many Jews, especially in the US, have been caught by the duplicity and "love" of the xtian doctrine. Rav Kessin's (and other important rabbis) see it as their obligation to discuss this topic in depth, in order to expose the lies and the evil intentions of Xian missionaries, and their message of "love" etc., in order to save many precious, but confused, Jewish souls who have been caught in their sinister web.
And why Rav Kessin? He is very knowledgeable about many diverse topics that most people know very little about. He is also a great Talmid chacham, with smicha from Rav Moshe Feinstein z"tzl.
The idea that Rav Kassin said in regards to plan B is actually a concept said over already by the Rambam in Hilchos Melachim Perk 11 Halacha 7: Nevertheless, the intent of the Creator of the world is not within the power of man to comprehend, for [to paraphrase Yeshayahu 55:8] His ways are not our ways, nor are His thoughts our thoughts. [Ultimately,] all the deeds of Jesus of Nazareth and that Ishmaelite [i.e. Mohammed] who arose after him will only serve to pave the way for the coming of Moshiach and for the improvement of the entire world, [motivating the nations] to serve G-d together, as it is written [Zephaniah 3:9], “I will make the peoples pure of speech so that they will all call upon the Name of G-d and serve Him with one purpose.
Honestly, I don't think it is wise for us or any rabbi to get involved with any 'religion' and to discuss it especially in public. It has nothing to do with anything that is connected to Yiddishkeit. There are the foolish Jews especially in the U.S. who are so assimilated that they have no idea who and why and what they are and this is due to the lack of Jewish education whether in Israel or in the galut. Hashem Yerachem on our spiritual matzav that has descended to a new low. This is also why the Rabbis declared never to dialogue with Xtians or any relgious group about 'religion'. We the Jewish people are not a religion - we are the ETERNAL PEOPLE, chosen by HASHem to be His people to be a light unto the nations. HASHEM IS THE ETERNAL, the INFINITE - there is NO other but HIM. I understand how the Rabbi thinks about the former president. Most sensible people in general know that if they want the US to continue to be a beacon of freedom, he is the one to choose, and I also agree that he might be the reincarnation of Antoninus Aurelius who eventually converted to Judaism, but when it gets into a deep discussion including the other religions, then it's best to end the discussion. I think the Rabbi is trying to explain a deep thought (idea) but there will be those who will misconstrue it all because their understanding will only go so far. But, am sure that the Rabbi will be able to fix the misunderstandings.
He has never said we "have to wait for Trump" - you are deliberately or mistakenly mis-quoting him to suit your theory. He always says Moshiach can come now, and he hopes so. His Trump scenario is just that, a scenario which he thinks will happen.
Someone asked me not to publish their comments which they'd already sent in. I don't know who that person was, because there was no name on any comments this morning. I deleted one comment which I thought they were referring to, but this may have been the wrong comment to delete. I have no way of knowing who wrote which comment unless you leave a name attached to it.
So if I deleted the wrong comment, and that person will now wonder why it was deleted.... it's because I didn't know which was which.
'suit your theory'. This is not about personal opinions or the circumstances of some individuals, but the leadership and direction of all of Klal Yisrael at this juncture in history.
I don't have theories nor am I deliberately misquoting a rav. I previously paraphrased Rav Zamir Cohen, who brought Rabeinu Bachya at length on this issue, with the precise location of the source.
Talking of Trump returning, telling Jews en mass that their purpose is to stay put and fight the darkness, is lulling them into a false sense of security and doing them and all of us a huge disservice. All of this in clear opposition to what Hashem tells us in the Torah, what our gedolim say and what Hashem is showing us through events. The direction by now should be clear. There were 12 spies, all of great spiritual stature. Only two passed the test. Being a huge talmid chacham does not mean one is immune from making a mistake.
Rav Ron Shaya just posted a video of himself speaking to the Yanuka. He asked specifically what the Jews of France should do. The answer by now should be obvious. Rav Dov Kook shlita, unusally for him, wrote a long letter about how the refusal of Jews to make aliya is delaying the geula. (Not everyone is constrained, most are not, there are thousands of empty apartments in Israel owned by absentee Jews in exile just for example. There must be at least a million young people, not yet ladened by the trappings of adult life, who could easily move and adapt).
All of the sources I mentioned can be verified. I just hope that Jews start to pack up and leave for positive reasons, without anymore wake up calls chalila. This is what is important.

That video was removed from You Tube at Rabbi Kessin's request, due to some mis-understandings of his teachings: Gila J.has put up a short video explaining why R. Kessin wanted it removed - see here:

Sort of quoting Rabbi Kessin that this is Biden's punishment, that he makes a fool of himself in front of the world.
Made me laugh anyway.
