I'm sure this rav knows by now that the Howell Parah Adumah is now p'sulah :( because she gave birth. :) I wrote about it in my new blog, Hava haAharona.
But, the Temple Institute just started a fundraising drive, Raise a Red Heifer in Israel. They already found a cattle ranch here and are overseeing the raising of a herd of red Angus cows, with the intention of separating out the heifers best meeting the job description! So far, only bull calves have resulted. Who knows how we're going to get a Red Heifer? Only HaShem...
