The last time the moon turned red, I saw it with my own eyes, although the moon was quite far away and just a small red dot in the sky. This time the moon will be much closer to us, and as the weather is fine here I'm hoping for an amazing sight.

Did you get any good pictures?
I just came back from watching it, it was very beautiful, not as red as I thought it would be, more reddish rather than outright red. I didn't take pictures as they wouldn't have done it justice, I'll wait for the online ones.
I believe it was redder in other parts of the world
