''A Lot of Love''

If you haven't already seen this, here's President Trump telling Israeli Prime Minister  Netanyahu that ''you're going to see a lot of a love, a lot of love...''

I like your title. Why? Because the so-called Israeli papers are basically headlining about the 2 state fiasco and settlements. They are all slanted in the wrong direction. I watched the Press Conference live and the whole atmosphere was kindness and support, respect and treatment of the Netanyahus as if they were royalty, from the moment they stepped out of the limousine to greet President Trump and Melania in front of the White House QUITE THE OPPOSITE FROM THE RECEPTION THAT MUSLIM GAVE the PM of Israel.

You have a good and gracious eye.

But, Neshama, like I tried to point out in my post about Moshe Fieglin's new party. It is going from one extreme to the other and extremes really are not good for the Jews.

The entire time Netanyahu has been in office, he has been implementing a program of Americanization of Israel and (at last count) 8 American military bases have been built in tiny little Israel. When I first came here over twenty years ago, almost all of Israel was middle class. That all changed with Netanyahu's fiscal policies, trying to make Israel operate more like America. There has never been more poverty in Israel than today. And now our banks are forced to be reporting agencies to the American government (see FATCA).

Mashiach is here and very, very soon, HKB"H is going to make the arrangements necessary for him to take power in Israel. When he does, we are on a collision course with America. The "love" will disappear overnight. Guaranteed.

Well, Devash, you are right as usual. I was only addressing a specific factor of the press conference. As I wrote on Dov's blog, "What a dangerous situation the PM is in. Since Hashem controls the Kings of the Nations of the World, we shall wait this one out." IOWs while trump is handling Netanyahu with kindness and smoothe talk, the situation hasn't changed - we are supposed to hold back on settlements!"
We need to watch this play out on a daily basis, and watch out for the leftist media lies. Like a flame before it goes out, it leaps up and bounces around trying to stay lit. So it shall be with our enemies, they will try fight ferociously before they are extinguished.

The Chofeitz Chayim states the following:

“All the many troubles that have fallen upon us, from which we have still not been saved, are because we don’t scream and increase our prayers in response to them. If we had prayed (properly), we would not have returned empty-handed. And it is not enough that (one) prays the Shemoneh Esrei prayer three times each day; several times daily he must pour out his requests in solitude, in his house, from the depths of his heart. The three regular prayers are so routine that one does not really concentrate during them – which is not the case if each person would contemplate in solitude his own plight... then he would pour out his heart like water to Hashem. Such a prayer would emerge with very deep intent with a broken heart and with great humility. Such a prayer will certainly not go unanswered…!” (Kuntrus Likutei Amarim, chapter 10).

Just as Hashem listened to the groaning voices of Bnei Yisroel in Egypt, so will Hashem listen to our cries today. In the merit of that prayer and crying, Hashem will speedily bring the Redemption, as is written (Zohar volume 2, page 12b), “Rav Yitzchak said that the salvation of Israel depends only on crying... as it is written (Yirmiyahu 31:8.) ‘… with crying they will come, and with lamentations I will lead them.’”
