It just so happens that the "seven stars on the North side" mentioned in the Zohar above are currently visible in our night sky. They are converging near the planetary line-up of Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, Uranus and Venus as discussed below. And the "star on the East side" is our Sun [Source: Dov bar Leib, when a similar thing occurred in 2012]
Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, Uranus and Venus are currently lining up in a rare ‘planetary parade’, with their shiny formation visible to the naked eye....Although the alignment was at its brightest on Tuesday, March 28 for all those who got the chance to look up, it will continue to be visible to all lucky stargazers tonight, and into the next few days.

As an afterthought, the "star on the East" could also be Niribu, which is currently behind our Sun, I believe.
I wish this blog would be more focused directly on events right before Moshiach instead of so much speculation about these stars and sky scenes that we don’t know how to interpret as being right before Moshiach or not
Hey Yaakov, these ARE events directly before Moshiach, we are actually seeing Wonders in the sky.. I don't know what events you want me to talk about, but you're welcome to add suggestions. Floods, earthquakes, volcanoes, people suffering, no money, banks closing, transgender, look around you and what do you see? A generation in chaos. I prefer to look up.

It is interesting that Pleiades was called in Tanach and Gemarah Kima. Ii is also used to describe the brilliance of the Cohen Gadol's face in the Yom Kippur Song/prayer "Mar'e Cohen". The gemara explains that it is called Kima because it has K'Meah Kochavim (about a hundred stars). This is pretty amazing as only about 6 are visible to the naked eye. The actual number of stars is in the hundreds I think. COntrast this with the ancient Japanese word for Pleiades Mutsuraboshi which means 6 stars. It is also known in Japanese as Subaru (the car whose symbol is 6 stars)

THanks Gershon, that's fascinating.
Looking at the word "Subaru" reminded me of the word "Nibiru". Maybe Nibiru is a Japanese word. Legend has it that the naming of Nibiru came from the Plaedians.... maybe there's some Japanese connection here that we don't know about. Anyway I'm just guessing. A lot of these planets have names that end with a "U" - Atu, Immaru....probably more that I don't know about.

I am afraid these prophecies refer to nations not physical stars and so when the zohar describes a pillar of black smoke i think it refers to a nuclear blast. Im sad to say but the reality is moshiach comes after a world war and so the pattern is always bitter sweet . First we were slaves then freed. Then we had the holocaust and after the state of Israel . So finally a war then moshiach comes. Bitter sweet.
I agree with Yaakov at 10:25AM. I appreciate the "Shirat Devorah" site and have learned a lot from its content. That said, the focus on all these celestial phenomena is a little hard for me to relate to. I had never heard of Nibiru before this blog, and wonder how many people in the Jewish world have. It just seems too obscure to be an overt sign of anything for the vast majority of people.
In my humble opinion, it's far more interesting to examine the crazy, inescapable social phenomena happening all around us as they relate to predictions before the coming of Moshiach: the proliferation of chutzpah; the enmity within our own households (like family members disagreeing on fundamental ideas such as gender); examples of how houses of learning are devolving into brothels; the generation with the “face of a dog”, etc. The list is long and we can see these things happening in country after country in real time.
But, of course, this is Devorah's blog and she can post whatever she chooses. Just my two cents on the kind of content I, personally, find more interesting than all the astronomy and weather-related things.
I sincerely hope my comment doesn't offend Devorah! It's not meant to do so. Also, I recognize that many readers do enjoy the posts on Nibiru and stars and weather events. As I said, just expressing my own preferences.

Anon 3}31 no Im not offended, I appreciate the feedback. I'm sure most Jewish people haven't heard of Nibiru, have they even heard of the Kochav Yaakov? I doubt it. But that is a Jewish prophecy, from Zohar parshat Balak. Nibiru is the Kochav Yaakov, I believe.
Anyway I will try and restrain myself from too many more Wonders in the Heavens unless some major events occur and it's going to obvious to everyone.
I do wonder though how you think all these weather changes are occurring.... it's not that Hashem is waving a magic wand, the weather is being caused by real time closeness of this planet or planets.
And let's not forget that the prophecy is that the moon will shine like the sun and the sun will be much more powerful than it is now, when Moshiach comes. I don't know who looks at the moon here, but I can tell you the last two nights the moon has been so beautiful, and I don't remember seeing the moon so bright, in the past.

To Harry: the bad prophecies 'do not have to materialize'. The good prophecies 'must' materialize. We pray there will never be a nuclear war. H' will fight the last battle of Gog U'Magog and HE will use HIS forces of nature (earthquake, fire & hail, etc.). We have to yearn for Moshiach and do teshuvah and pray that MBY will wage war against our enemies from within and from without. Let's think good and it will be good!

Also, the final war can happen before or after Moshiach comes. There's so much we will only know after it happens.
As to the Nibiru stuff, I do find it interesting, although I agree with anonymous at 3:31 that the craziness in the world, that seems to have in the last year or so become dramatically even crazier, gives me more chizzuk about Moshiach than planets that I've never seen, except in the TikTok videos Devorah posts.
I look in the sky here and everything seems normal, except that the weather is very "off." I live in Jerusalem and here we are, 9th of Nissan, and it's cold and rainy. And it felt like summer for much of the winter.
The only things I've seen in the sky are the giant, bright, beautiful rainbow we saw behind us as we drove back to Jerusalem from davening in Meron and Tzfas, and also once it seemed like the sun was setting in the wrong place, pretty far to the right of its place, but it was behind clouds and I guess could be explained by some visual trick of it shining behind the clouds. In the Nibiru theory, are all these planets that are supposedly traipsing around the earth always obscured by clouds and inclement weather? Because when it's clear I see nothing abnormal. Also, are these planets supposed to go around the earth once and then head back into space, or are they supposedly circling the earth?
About the moon, for at least the last few years it has seemed brighter, and also I see it regularly in the daytime as well as at night, which is something I don't remember being "a thing" when I was young. Anybody else notice this or is it just me?

I think the moon always appears in the daytime at certain times of the year, I don't understand these things but I think it's "normal".
The sun being in the wrong place is also normal, but perhaps you saw the second sun, which is close to our sun. I don't know if that's the star they call Nibiru, or if it's something else.
There are supposedly 8 planets orbiting this second sun, and this Nibiru system comes and goes, I've heard different guesses as to every 3600 years, but I don't think that's correct. Anyway it seems to have been close to us for quite a few years now, and they say that right now it is the closest it will ever be and it will stay this close for 180 days. That's six months, beginning from around 23 March 2023. And we're in for very bad weather events during that time.
Rather than seeing the actual planets, we see the weather around them. All these weird shelf clouds and vertical/feather clouds are from these planets. I will show some more videos when I get a chance to find some more. I know one of the planets has been causing huge thunderstorms in eastern and north eastern Australia just lately, as the Storm Chasers page has amazing photos there. And it's very easy to see the planet weather because it's consistent in its shape, it's not random clouds.

What Harry wrote is correct. Also, all this about the Nibiru system is also correct and do believe it is part of the pre-Moshiach events.
Even Nasa has hinted to this solar system but is keeping it quieter than should be. The weather patterns in the world are off kilter with severe storms,etc., earthquakes, volcanoes, all due, many say, to the passing closer of the Nibiru system. That's the real reason for the climate changes in the world. Whatever is from Torah sources
is the ultimate truth and the only truth. It's just there is much that
we cannot yet explain, but all will be clarified with the coming of Moshiach tzdkeinu!
In response to Harry, the predictions of wars may be sppiritual ones. It is certainly not unlikely that the zohar was aluding to that as well. For example, tzafon or north is related the word tzafun (hidden). There is certainly a battle out there against technologies that can literallyy be hidden in one's pocket etc.
The fact that we think, "Oh thats not so bad, its just a spiritual war against Tuma" is just a sign of how bad the problem is.
Many sources that the battle for kedusha will be the final war.

The weather this year in Israel has been amazing. Despite having so many long sunny periods with beautiful weather we have still reached close to our average rainfall. Some arease have even had over 100% and the Kineret is doing really well. Thank you Hashem.
I look up to the sky often in Israel but most of the time it is just a stunning clear blue.

FB just blocked and de-activated the group founder for the Nibiru account. Surprised it took them so long, I guess there was too much evidence being disbursed by her. No appealing a FB block, I know because my blog was banned from there during Covid in 2020.
"Truth will be absent" before Moshiach. And FB is doing its best to make sure that happens.
Yeah you can always find hidden meanings especially when dealing with kabbalah. But north of Israel is clearly russia and thats a strange coincidence. The question remains which two kings will fall. I believe russia and china . See numbers 24 also which speaks about the final war before the messiah.
I saw an article about a newly discovered huge black hole which actually draws in matter close and the matter heats up and creates a light or other energy. FB blocking Nibiru site makes me believe there is something to the story, if there's something they (those who control media narrative, whoever that is) are hiding, which makes me more inclined to believe the Nibiru stuff.
