I’ve convinced myself that we have a long time left to go until Moshiach. Can anyone throw any really convincing proofs at me here that Moshiach is about to arrive? I gave up over the last few months as I saw no major Geulah progress.

The time period how long for Mashiach to come is up to HaShem . It will happen when HaShem says so . The final
Decision is from the lord the one true G-d not when we think now is the right time or trying to guess etc .
The signs we see everywhere in these days are to strengthen our emunah and Bitachon. we know we are close but
No one one knows exactly the time and date only HaShem does .

Can you prove that Oct 7 is gog u’magog or you just like to assume this? Also, gog u’magog isn’t supposed to take months. It says it’ll be 12 minutes and will destroy 2/3rds of the world so I can’t possibly believe this is gog u’magog in gaza.

Two points here:
I don't know if any of you have heard this 'before' his fall.... but this time a mekubal was actually very on target by saying last week that the Sar of Iran fell in Shomayim and within days he will fall here..... and so it was!!! Astounding!
Also, on a different note, for those who are so discouraged. I believe the Geulah is very very close from all of the words of our sages that are coming true, as signs that it is imminent. However, with every day that passes and Moshiach has not arrived I cherish the fact that since it is Hashem's will, at least I can still gain merit for every little Mitzvah and every tiny drop of pain. I do not think we can fathom it entirely.
So, instead of feeling melancholy, please try to feell joy that we are witnessing history AND we can still grab lots of merit for eternity in the meantime!

re Gog u Magog: the Yanuka said, just after Oct 7, that this is not Gog u Magog.
So I guess we still have that on the horizon, and the longer the Rafah operation takes, the more the anti-Israel effect will be seen. We don't know what's going to happen next.
Although I personally believe that all this began on Oct 7 and whatever happens after it is connected, so if people want to say that it's Gog u Magog [and it looks like it because so many people are against Israel] then perhaps it is. Not that I want to argue with the Yanuka, it just all seems connected.

i am upset that so many of the readers are ‘upset’ or ‘giving up’ that Moshiach is NOT coming imminently. The Lubavitcher Rebbe has said many times that we must ‘work’ harder to bring the Moshiach. . On Purim there is an analogy that our prayers and fasting went from ‘below to above’ and on Pesach, in His infinite chesed to us, Hashem brought his ‘energy’ down to us without us making the effort because we were not able. We were mired in the 49th level of tumah. Are we that weak now? I have been involved with bikur cholim. You can do that too. I have been involved in kiruv. You can too. There are many ways you can help to do the work to bring Moshiach instead of feeling sorry for yourself in your situation in galus. True, we are all suffering. Get a chavrusa. Learn more. Say kind words to your family. Don’t give up - the people in the concentration camps were fighting- they didn’t give up. DO Somethng to BRING an end to gauls!
Who said Moshiach isn’t coming imminently? Are you aware that Moshiach can come today and that we have many signs and prophecies fulfilled, and many other reasons to believe it can come today?

Rabbi Kessin's last shiur is relevant. It deals with delay. Remember that once Mashiah is here, it's game over; no more choice, no more benefits, no more teshuva. So He must wait as long as possible until all Jews can be redeemed, even at the lowest level. The delay is a chesed.

Rabbi Kessin never said Moshiach is delayed. He was talking about the delay UNTIL NOW. He was talking about the past delay. He actually said at the end of the lecture that he believes Moshiach is coming very soon.

I don't think many realize what a great miracle we saw? Many believe it had to do with the imminent execution, c"v, of Arvin Netanel ben Sonia Tziona not a statement made by the president of Iran about Israel. Netanel is an Orthodox Jew living in Iran who was falsely accused of murdering a man who he killed in self-defense. Jews all over the world said books of Tehillim on the man's behalf. It had been told that Iranian Jewish communities declared a fast in search for G-d's favor.
His original date for execution was on Shabbos, but it was changed to Monday. On Sunday morning, Raisi and his entourage went to Azerbaijian to attend a ceremony. Towards the late afternoon, they decided to return to Iran even though the weather turned for the worst. The pilot of Raisi's helicopter became disoriented due to the fast change in weather, the plane crashed on landing and Raisi and the FM was killed.
From this above story, we see the power of prayer which with G-d's help the man was saved from execution. The person that signed the death warrant would be President Raisi. Now, according to some, there is no one to sign the death warrant.
We still must pray for the man's yeshua and for the geulah shleimah.
I hope like many others that the world will see that to start up with G-d's people unjustly comes with a a very high cost. As long as we follow G-d's laws and be a holy nation there is no limit to how much G-d can help His people.
