@agreed, Ron. I think the Rabbi gave off a false impression that we can not have the Geulah until trump is back as president.

He has always said that but there is a BUT and he also always says Mshiah can come anytime. We know gematria of Trump is same as Mashiah ben David maybe it is a sign it happens then but we don't know anything do we.

Trump was already president for a full term and the gematria was the same then. It’s silly to say Moshiach can’t come until Trump is in the White House again because his name is the gematria of Moshiach. A lot of gematrias of other past presidents and events are Moshiach.

Just from seeing the comments ... This is daat yachid. Of the many highly respected rabbonim I listen to, I have never heard anyone speak of Trump and the geula. If you're going to rely on anyone, rely on the Rambam, chazal, the zohar. The Rambam says, in general, that we should all see ourselves as holding the fate of the world in our hands, and our next action will tip the scales to the side of merit. In this light, the constant future dating of the geula is delaying the geula. In the time that you're fretting over Trump, you could have taken an action that might tip the scales.
It would be more a propros to think, what can I do to bring the geula, obviously, Torah umitzvot, etc, aliya, tefilla, tsaaka.... that is what brings the geula, not pushing off the geula to a later time in your mind. If the geula has not come yet, despite everything, the answer is not to come up with a new date, far away enough not to give up completely, whilst enough to dampen the ratzon for the geula today. The answer is to tell Hashem that you want the geula today. 'Kalu kol hakeitsim'. There is nothing left to be done. And if sparks in Rafiah need to be redeemed, Hashem can do that in an instant, as He did in Mitzrayim. Thinking that we have to wait for the end of the operation is back to front. We have to beg Hashem for the geula today, and Hashem will end the operation Himself.
Putting doubt in people's minds regarding the imminence of the geula is tantamount to leading them astray.
Completely agree 100%. People have to stop coming up with ridiculous gematrias and predictions for Moshiach coming at a later date other than today. We’ve had all the chevlei Moshiach and nevuos fulfilled. May we greet Eliyahu HaNavi tonight with tremendous joy!

If we are indeed in be'ito then certain things must occur before the Geulah.
Even though Hashem can override this at any time of course however if certain things must occur then we cannot change it. Just keep begging for Geulah now
It’s obvious we are b’itoh. Nothing else needs to happen before the Geulah. No more negative prophecies have to come true. If you actually believe that, than you are awaiting 2/3rds of the world being destroyed. We look for all the signs of Moshiach and we have all of them. Read the last comment above from anonymous. We also have had every major Tzaddik say that Moshiach is imminent. If that’s not enough for you, nothing will be. Let’s anticipate Moshiach coming today.

In Deuteronomy,4 we are promised an end to our exile in foreign lands:
And it will be, when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, that you will consider in your heart, among all the nations where G‑d, your G‑d, has banished you. And you will return to G‑d, your G‑d, and you will listen to His voice according to all that I am commanding you this day, you and your children—with all your heart and with all your soul. Then, G‑d, your G‑d, will bring back your exiles, and He will have mercy upon you. He will once again gather you from all the nations, where G‑d, your G‑d, had dispersed you . . . And G‑d, your G‑d, will bring you to the land which your forefathers possessed, and you [too] will take possession of it, and He will do good to you . . .
These verses teach us that the redemption is dependent upon the Jewish people doing teshuvah (repentance), and that Moshiach’s arrival will include an ingathering of the exiled Jews.
The Rebbe also said everyone has to do Tshuvah .
Correct. The Navi says “we will be filled with laughter”. There won’t be anymore illness and suffering anymore. The world will become Gan Eden again as it was before Adam & Chava sinned… but on a much greater level.

There's a passage in the Zohar that says "two kings will fall"... although everything else written there doesn't make much sense right now, but it's at the time of Moshiach being revealed.
The Skovakian President was shot, but he's still alive.
I don't know if any of this applies to the "two kings" falling.
I have a feeling that this rasha was killed in the merit of all of the tehilim being said for Arvin Netanel ben Sonya, may he live, a Jewish man in Iran sentenced to be killed.
A mekubal has instructed 1000 people to say tehilimi 13, 13 times for his release, please G-d.

I remember this too about the Rebbe, that around the time of the first Gulf War, it was said that all the sparks of galut had been collected, so that Mashiach could then come at any time after.
I think these sparks were the ones that represent knowledge i.e. when a certain scientific invention happens, it is proof of a spark being found/redeemed.
This poses two questions:
1.) There are said to be 86 sparks in Rafah.
2.) There have been instances of a Keitz (a particular moment when Mashiach is likely to come) prior to 1990/91 when the Rebbe noted the sparks had been found.
I do not think the Rebbe was wrong.
So in my opinion it is possible he was talking about a different category of spark.
Possibly around that time, the origins of, or processes towards, all the scientific inventions that we have now, had been started.
And that even if the sparks had not been redeemed, Hashem can "Fast track" that process to an instant if he wants Mashiach to be revealed.

Q: Why didn’t Moshiach come yet?
A: The answer is that he wants to give you a chance to accomplish something in life. You should know, that when Moshiach comes, most people won’t be able to accomplish anything. It’s right now, before Moshiach comes, that you have the great opportunity to accomplish and make something out of yourself.
Here; you walk in the street – you have a beard, you have payos and a black hat. Everybody hates you. They look at you with disgust. It’s wonderful! It’s really wonderful. You ignore them and you fortify yourself in the knowledge that you are serving Hashem. The more they despise you, the bigger the reward. It’s such an opportunity. You walk in the subway – as soon as you walk in nobody wants to look at you. Everyone hates you. Boruch Hashem, it’s a wonderful thing.
But that’s in this world. When Moshiach comes, you’ll walk into the subway and everyone is going to get up for you. There’ll be no more schar. There’ll be no more reward for being a good Jew when it’s so easy. Li’fum tzara agra. The reward is according to the difficulty. Now it’s difficult, so now is the time when we want to live. What’s the hurry for Moshiach? Of course, he should come and we won’t stop him from coming. We won’t be able to help ourselves. But enjoy life right now. It’s so good to walk in the street and be a frum Jew today – to be loyal to Hashem when faced with all of our detractors.
And it happens to all of us. I was walking across the street and an Italian bum was sitting in his car waiting for the red light to change. So in order to frighten me he causes his car to jerk forward quickly and then make a short stop. To frighten me! This happened to me recently. I looked at him and he was acting as if he didn’t see me – making believe. And his wife is sitting next to him and she is laughing. So I said quietly to myself, “Ribono Shel Olam. I don’t want to do any harm to him. His foot should come off just above the knee – that’s all. More than that I don’t want. What could he do? He has a goyishe head. So just above the knee it should come off. That’s enough.”
And I want to tell you something: He’d be lucky if it happens because if he waits for Gehenim it will be a pity on him. It would be a very big chesed for him if he loses his foot right now.
